Last Friday 30th August I took part to a hugely noisy session with ODRZ duo (visit their website here). Massimo Mascheroni, Antonio Maione and me recorded a wonderful improvisation which will be included in an ongoing project called ODRZ66: a different session every Friday throughout the 2019. The piece - almost 14 minutes of pure energy and dramatic, noisy, industrial sounds - is available on Bandcamp here. Photo shooting by Enrico Ponzoni.

Last Monday night I had a great concert at Auditorium San Fedele, Milan, for the Inner Spaces season and in co-production with Milano Musica Festival. I was commissioned an extended version with guitar and live electronics of six Bach's chorales transcribed by Gyorgy Kurtag. The result was a dreamy 35 minutes performance, with the essential aid of the Acusmonium amplification. I have to thank Antonio Pileggi, Giovanni Cospito and Filippo Berbenni; special gratitude goes to Andrea Bolzoni and Christian Tölle for the electronics. In the second part of the show, the weird and fascinating Mecanium Orchestra by Pierre Bastie...

Last Saturday Andrea Bolzoni and I had an intriguing improv session at Triennale in Milan - in an unusual setting.

Here a couple of videos from the 2-hours performance "Living against a wall"  by Davide Pizzigoni.

Another news from the improvisation department. Here's a very nice review of the last Zauss cd, "Trittico-Immer-All Over", recorded in 2016 in Alvaneu  (Switzerland) and released by Fazzul Music, with Markus Stauss (saxophones, flute) and Giuseppe Olivini (percussion, theremin). Benno Hofer hosted us in his beautiful house in the Grigioni mountains and, accidentally, recorded every mess we played. From that almost-four-hours material we chose the songs for this double cd.

Read the review here.

Enjoy some tracks here.

Even though Yugen's concert is dangerously approaching, yesterday Andrea Bolzoni and me met for a recording session. Just for fun, but maybe for a future release - why not?

Last June 18th I had the pleasure to take part to the annual Tribute to Claudio Rocchi organized by Antonello Cresti at Spazio Ligera in Milan. Five acts in one night: I was followed by Maurizio Marsico & Riccardo Sinigaglia, Tai-No Orchestra (Filippo Monico, Massimo Falascone, Roberto Masotti, Fabrizio Testa), Vincenzo Zitello and ODRZ (Massimo Mascheroni and Antonio Maione). Here you can see the video of my solo performance. Special thanks to Antonello and Massimo Mascheroni.
